Professional Bio
Sarah's research lies on the intersections of memory, imagination, and Palestine, utilizing Palestinian feminist and decolonial lenses and a focus on grounding Palestinian voices and resistance. Her Ph.D. explores how the “Old City” in the West Bank rhetorically participates and co-creates Palestinian memory and identity through its material constructions to demonstrate sumud. Currently, Sarah is working on collaborative work on Palestinian cultural studies and digital means of communication.
