Sarah Constant studies low-income housing policy and design in American and European contexts. Her work on social housing in the Netherlands explains the rhetorical and symbolic importance of extravagant working-class housing designed by members of the so-called Amsterdam School during the early twentieth century. She has taught courses in public speaking, argument, interpersonal communication, intercultural communication, and conflict management.
