Professional Bio
Isaac James Richards is primarily interested in epistemological questions at the intersection of rhetoric, memory, and religion—particularly at archaeological sites in the Middle East, the United States, and India. His work has appeared in The Journal for the History of Rhetoric, The Journal of American Culture, and several other venues. In 2022, Isaac received the James L. Golden Outstanding Student Essay in Rhetoric Award from the National Communication Association. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Communication Arts and Sciences at the Pennsylvania State University.
