Professional Bio
Gabrielle Johnson is a rhetorician who studies the intersections of religion, politics, and cultural identity, with a particular focus on Christian nationalism in America. Her scholarship examines how rhetorical practices shape belief systems, while also drawing on feminist and psychoanalytic perspectives to analyze narratives of identity and belonging amongst deconstructing females. Drawing on her previous roles as an Assistant Director of Student Services and a Student Success Advisor, she has developed a data-informed yet student-centered approach to supporting learners and fostering academic achievement. Gabrielle is dedicated to advancing her research while contributing to inclusive, critical, and engaged academic communities.
