Professional Bio
Daniel A. Lee serves as an Assistant Teaching Professor in the Department of Communication Arts and Sciences, and teaches Effective Speech (CAS100a and CAS100b). Dan has taught CAS203 (Interpersonal Communication), and he has also served as a teaching assistant for courses at Penn State including Quantitative Research Methods (CAS304), Communication and Technology (CAS283), and Communication Theory (CAS303). Dan’s research investigates the effects of communication technology on perceptions of messages, audiences, and interaction partners, and he has presented his research at the National Communication Association Conference (2020; 2023), and at the Eastern Communication Association Conference (2016).
