Bryan Mesquita is a communication scientist who is interested in studying health communications and designing health campaigns geared toward promoting health-positive behaviors.

Bryan is a M.A. student at Penn State who earned his B.A. in Communication and Psychology at the University of Connecticut. His research interests lie within numerous health communication contexts on both interpersonal and population-wide levels in order to narrow the knowledge gap between medical professionals and the general public. This includes research into the design and implementation of health promotion campaigns for antibiotic stewardship and vaccination promotion, as well as combatting substance abuse. He has also had experience in research involving gender-based communication within female-dominated workplaces, such as nursing and elementary school teaching. He currently teaches effective speech (100A) and is excited to introduce undergraduate students to the world of communication arts and sciences.
