Specifically, Robin studies television and explores how the affect and materiality of the televisual medium shape the rhetorical invitations it may offer. Robin is particularly committed to interrogating representations of marginalized communities on television and the larger cultural impact of those representations. Robin currently teaches Effective Speech (CAS 100A) and enjoys helping her students to become more confident communicators in their personal, professional, and public lives.
