Communication Arts and Sciences Adjunct Lecturer (REQ_0000043440, Part Time)
The Department of Communication Arts and Sciences of The Pennsylvania State University invites applications for part-time openings as a member of the teaching faculty for Fall 2023. Teaching is anticipated to be in-person during these semesters; however, online remote teaching is sometimes required.
Job Duties
- We seek part-time lecturers to teach undergraduate courses in Communication Arts and Sciences, principally in CAS 100, Effective Speech, and to assist with the department supported collegiate debate team.
Requirements and Qualifications
- A Master’s degree in communication studies or a related field is required.
The start date for these openings is August 2023. These are one semester, non-tenure track appointments with the possibility of reappointment. Part-time lecturers normally teach one to two courses per semester and no more than five classes in an academic year.
