Professional Bio

Josh Friedberg specializes in interfaith family communication. His research focuses on the theoretical framework of interfaith families to highlight the diversity represented within this community. His current projects examine interfaith identity and the representation of interfaith families and individuals in film and television. He is particularly interested in the roles of family members and changes in perspectives across generations. His goal is to examine the unique experiences of this emerging group. He has taught a variety of undergraduate and graduate courses, such as public speaking, persuasion, health communication, business communication, corporate ethics and social responsibility, and management and organizational behavior.
