Van Anh Nguyen

Professional Bio

Van Anh Nguyen is a MA student and graduate assistant. She received a B.A in Communication Studies and a B.A in Political Science from Kutztown University in 2022. She is interested in studying about how the intersection of identities, social experiences and social stigmas influence the way individuals process different types of messages, and how communication inequalities impact population health. She has done research on language barriers in healthcare among Asian American immigrants and communicating antibiotics stewardships using meta-analysis during her undergraduate. She is teaching Speech Communication (CAS100A) at Penn State starting in Fall 2022.
