Lulu Peng is interested in the application of persuasion theories in the context of health communication. Her research focuses on the influence of fear on the health-related decision-making process and the comparisons of outcomes led by different levels of fear. She is also curious about the social and cultural variables that may contribute to a difference in the effects of fear across cultural settings. In addition, she has been particularly interested in methodologies such as causal modeling, hierarchical linear modeling, and meta-analysis since her time in Connecticut. Lulu teaches CAS 100A Effective Speech.
