Professional Bio
Karen Boynton is an MA student specializing in interpersonal communication. Broadly, she is interested in relationship development between individuals and the impact of those relationships on well-being. Recently, Karen has been exploring how LGBTQ+ identifying individuals decide to come out using perceptions of goals and relational power. Karen is currently on a research team investigating the relationships between conflict, cohesion, and performance in group communication. Karen teaches CAS 100A and is a TA for CAS 283.
