Her previous research includes whether juries experience psychological reactance when given an instruction to disregard certain testimony. For future research, she is interested in continuing this line of study as well as looking at how individual behavior of a group member affects other members' perception of the group. Her research has been presented at both the Southern States Communication Association and the Midwest Popular Culture Association annual conferences. In addition, work completed for her master's thesis will be presented at the upcoming National Communication Association conference.
