Christina Cook is a poet, literary translator, essayist, and book critic. She is the author of three collections of poetry, most recently A Strange Insomnia, published by Aldrich Press. Her work has been included in two anthologies and has been published widely in journals including the New Ohio Review, Prairie Schooner, Painted Bride Quarterly, and Crazyhorse. Formerly a senior speechwriter for the presidents of Dartmouth College and the University of Pennsylvania, she teaches courses in composition and rhetoric in Penn State's Department of English and speechwriting in the Department of Communication Arts and Sciences.
