Allison Niebauer’s research rests at the intersection of memory studies, collective trauma, moral repair, and rhetorics of religion. In particular, she researches the rhetorical dimensions of harm and repair in the wake of large scale conflict. She has taught and assisted teaching a variety of undergraduate courses, such as public speaking, argumentation, persuasion, and propaganda.  Allison was a nationally ranked collegiate debater and has had the privilege of coaching for both Wheaton College and Penn State.
