Zhou selected to receive Dissertation Award from RGSO

CELEBRATIONS!

PhD student Alison Zhou has been selected to receive a Dissertation Award from the Research and Graduate Studies Office in the College of the Liberal Arts. These award are made based on competitive review of research proposals submitted by PhD students throughout the college. In her dissertation, Ms. Zhou conducts two experiments to examine the processing and outcomes of conflicting advice. More specifically, the studies explore the interactive impact of factors that reside at the individual message level (e.g., message features) and those at the advice-group level (e.g., level of conflict) on the consequences of conflicting advice. The Dissertation Award provides Ms. Zhou with a semester release from other duties so that she can make progress on this impressive project.

Congratulations, Alison!
