PhD Student receives STAR Award

Claire Strutzenberg was recently awarded the Superior Teaching and Research (STAR) Award from the college of Liberal Arts. Claire’s research examines how family communication influences individuals across the lifespan, primarily during times of developmental transition. Funding from the STAR award will be used to support ongoing longitudinal research examining the role of family relationships and social support on students’ stress and resilience during the adjustment to college.
