PhD candidates recently published in the Journal of Health Communication

GRADS@WORK:

Communication Arts & Sciences PhD candidates Alison Zhou and Michelle Acevedo-Callejas are collaborators, along with PhD alumnus David Brinker and CAS Professor Erina MacGeorge, on a study recently published in the Journal of Health Communication. The aim of the project was to understand how to convey the risks of antibiotic use and to encourage people to seek more information on the topic. By developing a brief video, the research team has identified an easy tool for encouraging patients to pursue more informed choices about antibiotic use.
