PhD candidate awarded Superior Teaching and Research Award

CELEBRATIONS!!

Dominic Manthey, PhD Candidate, has been awarded a Superior Teaching and Research (STAR) Award from the College of the Liberal Arts. This competitively-selected award provides funding to support research or professional development for students who have distinguished themselves as outstanding graduate students.  The funding provided by the award will allow archives that Dominic cannot currently visit to digitize and share with him materials related to Vietnam protests aboard U. S. Navy vessels. Thus, the funding is truly making possible research Dominic could not otherwise be doing.

Congratulations, Dominic!
