PhD alumnus featured in panel of speakers at the National Museum of American History

PhD alumnus Dave Tell, Professor in the Department of Communication Studies and Co-Director of the Institute for Digital Research in the Humanities and the University of Kansas, joined a panel of speakers at the National Museum of American History focused on the legacy of Emmett Till. Professor Tell’s research, which focuses on issues of race, memory, and the digital humanities, has been instrumental is developing the Emmett Till Memory Project, which enables visitors to access narratives and archival documents as they travel to locations related to Till’s murder in the Mississippi Delta.
