Graduate student Maddy Jupina has been working with the National Prevention Science Coalition to Improve Lives (NPSC) since January, 2022. NPSC works to prevent risk factors and enhance protective factors to improve people's health. During her time at NPSC, Maddy has chosen to focus on reducing stigma toward people with opioid use disorder as a form of harm reduction. She wrote an op-ed on this topic, with coauthor Dr. Diana Fishbein, which was recently published in the Reading Eagle.
