CAS PhD student published in the journal Argumentation and Advocacy

CAS PhD student Sophia Maier recently published in the journal Argumentation and Advocacy a review of the collection The Educated Eye: Visual Culture and Pedagogy in the Life Sciences, edited by Nancy Anderson and Michael R. Dietrich. "The Educated Eye will likely interest rhetoric of science, visual rhetoric, and pedagogy scholars, especially because it so lucidly demonstrates how these areas of study entangle," Maier concludes. "As a result of its methodological heterogeneity, the book produces sophisticated descriptions of the conditions and discursive mechanisms that transform obscure, technical ideas into cultural commonplaces." Congratulations to Sophia on her first scholarly publication ... and another one in press.
