CAS major panelist at roundtable discussion, “Toward Racial Equity at Penn State: Social Difference, Social Equity and Social Change”

Carmen Hernandez, who is majoring in Communication Arts & Sciences at Penn State Berks, was a panelist in a roundtable discussion titled “Toward Racial Equity at Penn State: Social Difference, Social Equity and Social Change” on Tuesday September 8th. Top center in the photo, Ms. Hernandez joined other Penn State students, as well as faculty and administrators, to share their experiences within a predominately white university setting. Their discussion, which can viewed online at watch.psu.edu/toward-racial-equity/, offers insights that can benefit everyone in the Penn State community. Thank you, Carmen, for contributing to this important conversation!
