Assistant Professor of AFAM and CAS elected Vice-Chair Elect of the Public Address Division of the NCA

FACULTY SPOTLIGHT:

Abraham Khan, Assistant Professor of African American Studies and Communication Arts & Sciences, has been elected Vice-Chair Elect of the Public Address Division of the National Communication Association. The Public Address Division, one of NCA’s oldest and largest divisions, fosters scholarship that “leads to theoretical insight about the nature of public discourse at the same time as it enhances our understanding of particular discourses, rhetors, or social movements.” Past chairs of the division who are currently on our faculty include Mary Stuckey and Kirt Wilson. Congratulations, Abe! We look forward to your leadership role in NCA!
