Alumni News: Recent graduate to begin position as Research Assistant for The Kettering Foundation

ALUMNI NEWS:

In September, recent Penn State graduate Camryn Wilson will begin a one-year position as Research Assistant for The Kettering Foundation, working collaboratively to answer the question, "What does it take to make democracy function as it should?" Camryn and other researchers will seek the unique perspectives of citizens, communities, and institutions to answer this question. As a Research Assistant with the Kettering Foundation, Camryn's primary responsibility will be to provide focused reviews of scholarly and professional literature relevant to the foundation's interdisciplinary research into the challenges of democratic governance.

Camryn is a former Nevins Fellow, winner of the Student Engagement Award from the Center for Democratic Deliberation, and a graduate of the Intercollege Minor in Civic and Community Engagement, administered by the Department of Communication Arts and Sciences.

Congratulations, Camryn!
