Ph.D. candidate featured in, “Philosophy & Rhetoric,” and, “The Rhetoric of Fascism”

Ph.D. candidate and Humanities Institute Scholar in Residence Ismael Quiñones has an article in Philosophy & Rhetoric and a chapter in the book The Rhetoric of Fascism. The journal article “Colonial Imaginations: Solitude in the Cartas y Relaciones of Hernán Cortés” argues for a framework in rhetoric to move beyond the times of nation states and colonization. The chapter “Perfecting Dictatorship: Varga Llosa’s Confrontation with the Mexican PRI” overviews the fascistic strategies used by the political party PRI throughout the 20th century. Congratulations Ismael!
