Fall 2022 colloquium series kicks off with celebration of Assistant Professor Joshua Trey Barnett’s new book, “Mourning in the Anthropocene: Ecological Grief and Earthly Coexistence”

The Department of Communication Arts and Sciences will kick off its Fall 2022 colloquium series with a celebration of Assistant Professor Joshua Trey Barnett’s new book, “Mourning in the Anthropocene: Ecological Grief and Earthly Coexistence,” on Friday, September 2, from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. at the Arboretum’s Overlook Pavilion. Professor Barnett will be joined by two respondents: Roy Scranton (author of “Learning to Die in the Anthropocene”) and our own Rosa Eberly (author of “Citizen Critics”). This event is hosted by the Communication, Science, and Society Initiative, a research collaboration between The Huck Institutes of the Life Sciences and the Department of Communication Arts and Sciences.
