Teaching Faculty

The Department of Communication Arts and Sciences of The Pennsylvania State University invites applications for full-time positions as a member of the teaching faculty for the 2022-23 academic year. Teaching is anticipated to be in-person.

We seek full-time teaching faculty to teach undergraduate courses in Communication Arts and Sciences, principally in CAS 100 (Effective Speech). A Master’s degree in a related field is required. The start date for these positions is August 2022.

These are one-year, non-tenure track appointments with the possibility of reappointment. These appointments teach three or four courses. Rank will be determined based on education and experience.   For a more detailed description of the department, please visit our website at
