Adjunct Lecturer

The Department of Communication Arts and Sciences of The Pennsylvania State University invites applications for part-time openings as a member of the teaching faculty for Fall 2022Teaching is anticipated to be in-person in these semesters.

Job Duties

  • We seek part-time lecturers to teach undergraduate courses in Communication Arts and Sciences, principally in CAS 100 (Effective Speech). 

Requirements and Qualifications

  • A Master’s degree in a related field is required.

 The start date for these openings is August 2022. These are one semester, non-tenure track appointments with the possibility of reappointment. Part-time lecturers normally teach one to two courses per semester and no more than five classes in an academic year.  For a more detailed description of the department, please visit our website at
