Biography:

Veronica Droser specializes in Family and Interpersonal communication. Her work centers relational level experiences, and employs mixed and dyadic methodologies. She is particularly interested in how families and relational partners experience moments of transition, and how they negotiate and (re)create shared meaning following these changes. Her research considers the implications of sudden and adverse shifts in relational partnerships, such as family death and infertility, as well as changes that arise naturally throughout relational development. In her research and her classrooms she highlights the importance of inclusive conceptualizations of family and relationships, and remains committed to diversifying whose experiences are centered in Family and Interpersonal communication scholarship. Professor Droser teaches courses on Interpersonal Communication (CAS 203) and Family Communication (CAS 405).
