Sara Lauer is a lecturer in Communication Arts & Sciences where she teaches CAS 100-A and CAS 100-B (Effective Speech). Her research interests comprise media studies, critical/cultural studies, public speaking, and instructional communication. Lauer has published a piece on nonverbal cues to increase immediacy in online teaching in Communication Education. Lauer is also the program director and afternoon on-air personality on B94.5. In her spare time, Lauer enjoys hiking, biking, spending time with her dogs, and finding the best food in the State College area.
