Kellie Marin is a doctoral student in Communication Arts and Sciences. She studies national security rhetoric and how communication intersects with issues of terrorism, media studies, social media and citizen participation, public memory, affect, and materiality. Her recent projects have concerned digital rhetoric and countering violent extremism online as well as analyzing public discourse of terrorist organizations. Kellie has published in Communication and Critical/Cultural Studies. She teaches CAS 100A.
