Biography:

Jose S. Maldonado studies social influence and persuasion. He is particularly interested in nonverbal communication, message production, emotion, and cognitive processes. In his most recent research project, Jose examined the relationship between nonverbal gestures and cognitive processes within dyadic, face-to-face argumentative interactions. He teaches CAS100A: Effective Speech at Penn State.
