Haley Schneider studies rhetorical criticism and theory with a focus in public memory and narrative history. She is interested in how public memory contributes to the arrangement and value of historical events, and what it reveals about a society’s political values. Her current research focuses on public address at the end of the Cold War, particularly questions of agency in foreign affairs. Haley teaches public speaking at Penn State University.
