Allison Morris Niebauer
- B.A., Wheaton College, 2009
- M.A., Pennsylvania University, 2016
Allison Niebauer’s research focuses on the communication practices that societies employ after periods of armed conflict. She is particularly interested in how societies debate and eventually choose transitional justice structures. It is her hope that by analyzing these discursive practices, we can come to a better understanding of how to pick up the pieces after conflict. She has taught and assisted teaching a variety of undergraduate courses, such as public speaking, persuasion, and propaganda. Allison was a nationally ranked collegiate debater and coached collegiate debate for four years before returning to her graduate studies.
