CAS 213 - Persuasive Speaking

This course offers students tools for the effective practice and critical analysis of persuasion. The study of persuasion concerns various modes of communication designed to influence beliefs, attitudes, and behavior. CAS 213 focuses on the critical assessment of persuasive discourse as well as its effective practice. Encouraging students to become better practitioners as well as critics of persuasive messages is the main goal of this course.
