RESEARCH ACTIVITIES AND INTERESTS:

Although I began my career focusing on performance studies, over the last ten years, I have centered my research in communication education. I am particularly interested in improving basic public speaking course instruction.

My essays have been published in Communication Research Reports, Basic Communication Course Annual, The Speech Communication Teacher, Issues and Inquiry in College Learning and Teaching, and The Pennsylvania Speech Communication Annual.
