RESEARCH ACTIVITIES AND INTERESTS:
I am a specialist in small group communication, with particular emphasis on decision-making. My research has included theoretical, experimental, and critical studies of small group interaction. The focus of my research interest is the ways in which communication functions in the service of task requirements in problem-solving and decisions-making groups. I hold a joint appointment with the Department of Labor Studies and Industrial Relations.
