RESEARCH ACTIVITIES AND INTERESTS:
I specialize in the areas of rhetorical criticism, history of oratory and public argument, and nineteenth-century rhetorics of reform. I teach courses in the interpretation of rhetorical texts, and rhetoric of campaigns and revolutions, and rhetorical theory.
