Scott Hull, CAS '09, is a Senior Consultant with Booz Allen Hamilton. He currently provides Program Management support for the US Department of Veterans Affairs. He is currently responsible for providing management support and leadership advice for VA IT Infrastructure Systems. Prior to his current project, Scott provided management support for the VA T4 Mobile Health program. Scott has also provided strategic communications, SharePoint administration, and development expertise to the Veteran Health Administration (VHA), Chief Business Office in Denver, CO. Scott first worked for Booz Allen at the Pentagon, working for the Marine Corps providing strategic communications support.
While at Penn State he researched and studied the spread of Malaria in Africa and worked with the Penn State Entomologists and Biologists to eradicate Malaria from sub-Sahara Africa.
The Communications, Arts and Science (CAS) major helped Scott develop strategic communications and facilitation skills that have been invaluable during his six years of professional experience. CAS courses that required public speaking and presentations were the most beneficial to Scott, because they simulate the day-to-day operations and requirements of a Program and Team Manager.
