Eric DiMuzio

I came to Penn State with the ultimate intent to pursue law.  Through discussions with my academic adviser, I discovered the CAS department.  I did not know at the time that what was known as a necessary (perhaps evil) speech class would expose me to a curriculum of such depth and breadth that its impact on my professional development is still hard to gauge.  If I had to distill my experience, I would say it taught me a process--incisive persuasion.

After a gap year, I arrived at Cornell Law School prepared for the Socratic method.  The call and response format gave me energy for the academic rigor of law school.  Most importantly, I trusted the process.  As I begin my career at Willkie Farr & Gallagher in Manhattan, I will continue to do the same.
